A Personal Message
The more I climb the more I am humbled by the overwhelming beauty of nature. It makes me realize how little control I have over anything and instills in me even more determination to benefit what is around me.
Sometimes our problems and challenges seem too big and difficult, but that is all subjective and we can conquer what we fear as we are the ones who set the limits.
We can challenge beyond expectation, pushing boundaries of what is possible and achieving more than we think we can or what others think we can. If we truly believe in our capabilities and yearn for that goal, then we can make it happen. We set our boundaries and we are the only ones who can push through them.
This expedition will inspire a whole new generation through willpower, determination and strength. Exposing myself to difficult situations and challenging my boundaries sets a new standard of learning through adventure. Building bridges, crossing borders, and reaching new heights.
Climbing for a cause
Asma has recently partnered with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, to raise awareness about the plight of those forced to flee their homes due to conflict and persecution.
Her expeditions are not only about setting records and inspiring others, they serve to advocate for the rights of the most vulnerable refugees and internally displaced people around the world.
